Episode Context

As the series premiere, this episode is pure foundation, world-building, character introductions, and the establishment of the core tension between public perception and hidden reality surrounding Matthew and Arwin's relationship. No prior episodes exist to reference, but everything here functions as setup for the show's central mystery regarding Matthew's true nature and the unseen sacrifices sustaining their dynamic. Expect subsequent episodes to begin peeling back the layers this opener so deliberately stacks.
