📖 SYNOPSIS

"Hatachi no Ryouma with Kurofune-kun!" is a tourism anime set in Shinagawa, created to honor the 150th anniversary of the Meiji Restoration. The story features Sakamoto Ryouma, a key figure in the overthrow of the Tokugawa shogunate, who spent his youth in Shinagawa. A statue of him stands in the ward, recognizing his heroic status in Edo. Ryouma, who once worked as a cost guard when Commodore Perry's black ships arrived, encounters Kurofune-kun, a chibi mascot representing the black ships. Through a time-slip, Ryouma and Kurofune-kun journey to modern-day Shinagawa, where they explore the area and meet other historical figures who have also traveled through time. The anime focuses on showcasing the sights of Shinagawa and celebrating its historical connections.
