Synopsis
St. Francesca Academy has just gone coeducational, having previously been an all-girls school, but you'd barely know it — Akihito Hayasaka arrives as a transfer student still massively outnumbered by female students. His adopted younger sister and his childhood friend both attend the same school, which should make settling in easier, but mostly it means his social life gets complicated fast. The academy has that old-fashioned, almost aristocratic atmosphere leftover from its all-girls days, and Akihito is basically figuring out how to exist in a world that wasn't really built with him in mind. Each girl he meets has a genuinely distinct personality, so the cast doesn't blur together the way it can in this genre. The tone stays lighthearted throughout — romance and comedy, nothing particularly heavy. If you've watched something like Koihime Musō or My-Otome and enjoy stories that lean into a predominantly female ensemble with a single male lead navigating the social dynamics, this hits a similar note. It's a two-episode OVA adapted from a visual novel by BaseSon, so it's short and doesn't overstay its welcome. Don't go in expecting deep drama — this is a relaxed romantic comedy that's comfortable being exactly what it is. The school setting gives the character interactions some structure, and the coeducational-transition backdrop is a small but genuinely interesting detail that makes the setup feel a little fresher than the typical transfer-student premise.
