It was fun and entertaining, but a bit too heavy on the ecchi side, with less character development. The visuals were not bad but there's room for improvement. I would rate it a solid 3/5.

Episode Context

The conclusion of a two-part arc centered on Izumi Sumiyoshi's crisis of confidence in the pool. Episode 5 leans into introspection as Izumi wrestles with whether to walk away from swimming entirely, while Kouyou Kotesashi steps into a supportive role that tests the dynamic between them. Expect a tonal shift from the heavier self-doubt of Part 1 toward something more resolute, with the series' signature ecchi comedy beats woven between genuinely earnest character moments. The pacing gives Izumi room to sit with her feelings before the episode builds toward emotional payoff. For a sports-ecchi hybrid, this is one of the more character-driven entries, prioritizing personal stakes over fanservice spectacle. If you connected with Izumi's setup in Episode 4, this is where the investment pays off.
