Mizuki pulling Sano onto the bed and holding onto him while asleep made me scream. He was trapped there all night turning red and losing his mind

Akiha tearing into Mari for having zero originality was brutal, the way she ran out crying after getting called a cheap copy was wild

Episode Context

This episode continues the season's summer interlude, picking up after the dorm renovation arc sent Mizuki, Sano, and Nakatsu into a temporary live-in work situation at a Hayama pension. Episode 8 extends that away-from-school energy into a new self-contained encounter, widening the group's social circle through a photography-related outing. Sitting at episode 8 of 13, it functions as a breather before the season builds toward its final stretch of more emotionally weighted payoffs.
