📖 SYNOPSIS
"Hammerboy" follows the adventures of Mangchi, a young boy residing on the isolated Candlestick Island, the only habitable place left after a global catastrophe. Mangchi possesses a magical hammer that aids him in overcoming various challenges. When Princess Poplar of the kingdom of Jemius is targeted by the henchmen of Moonk, a conspirator, Mangchi chooses to defend her. Driven by a desire to protect humankind, he prepares to unleash his hidden powers. The story explores themes of courage, resilience, and the fight against adversity in a world scarred by environmental disaster. The film premiered in 2003 and was released in South Korea in 2004.
