The way I see the episode, it balances goofy comedy with a surprisingly dark ending. The game-changing moment is when the case involving the "perfect" girl takes a tragic turn. My opinion about the graphics is that the visual effects for the Minimums are super unique.
As mystery goes, it has all the proper setup and clues for audience to follow if they make an effort to pay attention to details which I appreciate and even the twist villain was made as a setup for a larger antagonist. Murasaki said a lot of banger lines that I love a lot too
What starts like a normal school case slowly turns into something sad and uncomfortable. Theo, realizing his “hero” teacher wasn’t who he thought he was, genuinely hurts. Hamatora hides dark stories behind neon colors and smooth jazz, and it works so well. It also has a nice OST!
