This episode showcased Inarizaki's captain, who has been absent from the game so far. It's always so fun to learn about the unique personalities of the Haikyuu characters, especially the opponents we only see for a short time. Very tense episode, well-paced and exciting.

This episode is wonderful because it shines a spotlight on people who don't always get the attention. In a game where aces and game changing plays often take center stage, the episode shows that there are players whose greatest contribution is keeping the entire team steady.
