EPISODE CONTEXT
Eight episodes in, Gungrave has steadily built toward the full immersion of Brandon and Harry into Millennion's inner circle, and "Family" marks a pivotal moment in that integration — formalizing their place within the organization and the weight that comes with it. It follows the time-jump established in "5 Years Later," deepening what that passage of time has cost and granted these characters. The episode feeds directly into "Dispute," where the internal tensions quietly seeded here begin to surface.
