Overall this is the definition of a plot-important beach episode 😭 Fanservice aside, the episode actually moves the conspiracy, develops Shu’s morality, and expands the Void lore in meaningful ways

This episode somehow manages to be a beach episode, a friendship drama, and a conspiracy episode all at once 😭

The show does a good job tying Voids to personality traits and insecurities 💀Souta’s obsession with observing people turning into a “door-opening lens” actually fits surprisingly well
