I loved this episode because the main characters' friendship deepened, and I learned a bit more about each of their pasts. Even though there wasn't a battle, I found it enjoyable.

The episode also delves deeper into the different ways people perceive magic: some fear it, others want to exploit it, and some simply seek to survive amidst the chaos. It blends tense moments with conversations that help us better understand the motivations of various characters

This slows down a bit, but still has value. The characters continue their journey, giving the episode a travel-like feel while quietly building the story, the world, and their connection before things gets more intense. Zero and Mercenary, starts to build close chemistry. :)
