Overall, the episode is entertaining, but I'm still waiting for more epic magic battles. The conflicts between the protagonists are resolved very simply and are not remarkable at all. The motivations are a bit vague and don't show me a real connection with the characters.

Throughout the episode, the motivations of the various groups pursuing the grimoire are explored in more detail, making it clear that the conflict is not simply a struggle for power, but also for very different ideals.
