Laurent's backstory heartbreaks! Mother Emma's tragedy explains motivations. Dorothy's attempted murder adds dimension. Love for Dorothy feels genuinely romantic. Shanghai operation feels epic.

Dorothy was the original. she brought Laurent into this. something went wrong. Laurent's been carrying that weight forever. this episode is beautiful and sad. 😭
