EPISODE REVIEWS

New characters were introduced in this episode, and I really like how this anime continues to expand its supernatural cast by bringing in creatures and characters inspired by folklore from all around the world. As for Kitaro, one thing I’ve noticed is that being a mischievous kid with no sense of honor can really get you into trouble. Thankfully, he managed to make it through the episode without getting himself killed off.

They really do introduce different horror creatures in each episode. I have to say, I was amused to the image of the Toad Lady. A lot happened here, and I liked that there was no unnecessary dragging. Everything moved straight to the point, which made it feel satisfying and worth the watch. Above all, the soundtrack fit the scenes perfectly.
