I really dislike the lack of explanation on the alternative. I cant find love on land, so what? What's the alternative? The sister ask to "return Lara" then what? What do you mean return lara? You dont even explain how your plan is better and then you're there saying hurdur human cant be with mermaid. Its like so stupid. There's no emotional weight when there's no alternative to compare with. Is the alternative even easier or more possible? If no then finding love is the default and only way no? Everyone is just in their own mind and no ones asking question.
