We now get to see how's Asirpa's group is doing. I was expecting a whole episode of learning about the Karufuto Ainu their culture and lifestyle as they approach Russian territory but then the mood instantly changes no thanks to a certain crazy commanding officer

Loved the sniper action! Headshots on moving target? Nearly impossible! Though for me, Ogata is still the best sniper! 10/10 scene for me.

This episode gives us a high-stakes sniper action. It starts with Asirpa’s group encountering the Uilta Tribe, which also touches on Asirpa’s past with her father, so wholesome. But it quickly turns into a bloody sniper duel between Ogata and the Russian sniper. The episode also slowly reveals Kiroranke’s deep and dark past, which will eventually expose his true motives. A very action-packed episode, and I’m looking forward to more intense episodes coming!

Really tense episode with that sniper battle. The first half has this travel-episode quality to it—learning customs, solving problems, sharing food and making contact with a much bigger and much less forgiving world when they arrive at russia territory.

Ogata shot the wrong reindeer and now they gotta make it right. The Uilta hunting trip is actually cool—learning their traditions, surviving the cold. But the ambush at the border changes EVERYTHING. Russian sniper waiting for them? Someone sold them out. 🐐
