Pretty sure Sugimoto right now is mixed with emotions since the happenings from season 2 last episode. Now that we have the idea who the traitors are, what is his plan? Also that wrong photo scene was hilarious. This may be a serious anime, but the insert of the comedy is insane!
A solid start to season three after the Abashiri Prison arc, with Sugimoto joining the 7th Division to chase Asirpa. Set in post-Russo-Japanese War Russia, it features harsh winters and tense encounters with the locals, offering a strong mix of action, comedy, and setup.
This episode has a weird mix of tension and sadness. The production remains quite incredibly basic with bad CGI for the animals, yet the story and characters are still truly damnn good. The music perfectly on point building atmosphere surrounding the cold, winter setting.
