It was pretty chaotic. Teams kept changing, Shion’s backstory came up, and a new threat appeared. Fast-paced and surprising, but not too over the top.

Episode Context

Sitting just past the halfway mark of a 12-episode season, Episode 7 continues the Bailong Exam arc that kicked off in Episode 6, deepening the rivalries and fragile alliances established on day one. This is a bridge episode in the best sense, it escalates the personal and strategic stakes for Fighter D and the cadets while clearly laying groundwork for the exam's climactic final stretch in the episodes ahead.
