This episode shows how Hibiki became a Ranger not just for himself but to also change the system while Fighter D engages in a spectacular battle with a member of the Blue Keepers using wits and tricks.

This episode focuses on Hibiki’s tragic past and his uneasy team-up with Fighter D. There’s some action and tension, and it shows that Loser Ranger is more than just colorful fights — it actually has some depth.

The plot twist in this episode was really cool. I'm really looking forward to the continuation of the story.

Episode Context

Sitting at the one-third mark of this 12-episode season, Episode 4 shifts focus from the broader Keeper-versus-monster conflict established in the first three episodes to the internal fractures within the Ranger organization itself. It directly follows the groundwork laid in Episode 3, 'Our Evil Will Bloom, Someday,' and channels that momentum into new character dynamics and political tensions. The revelations here feed directly into Episode 5, 'Fighter D, as a Part of Ranger Force,' positioning this as a critical bridge episode where the infiltration stakes escalate significantly.
