The pacing is perfect in this episode. I like how they’re digging into the past and revealing the layers of the past, it builds up the mystery even more.

Episode Context

Coming off the squad's initial mission in episode two, 'Lost Memories' pivots from external conflict to internal reckoning, using the early-season window to flesh out character backstories before the stakes inevitably escalate. At episode three of twelve, this is classic setup territory, deepening the audience's investment in the cast so that later developments carry real weight. The self-awareness the characters gain here is positioned to directly shape their decisions and dynamics in the battles ahead.
