Instantly fell in love with the character designs!! Such a beautiful and colourful art style. I've never watched an anime with this concept before so it's refreshing to see. So much happened and it's only episode 1.

Instant hook for the first episode. Cleary explains the rules-views can relate it to town of salem or among us-and establishes the stakes for Yuri and his end goal where the wrong choice can be the end of it all.

This episode is a perfect "hook." It explains the complex rules of the game clearly while ending on a major twist that turns a simple murder mystery into a mind-bending time-loop thriller

This episode was a good introduction to the whole concept and the main rules of the "game".
Some parts are a bit unlogical, but those are needed for the game to be, well a game, so please don't be too harsh on that! I'm quite interested in this already honestly

The first episode was quite enjoyable. The animation exceeded my expectations, and the camera angles were interesting and lively as well. They didn’t need to push the voice cast so much, but I’m happy they did, lol. I'm hyped for the next episodes.

I went in a bit confused, but it hooked me fast. The setup feels strange at first, but in a good way. I didn’t fully understand everything yet, but I was already curious. It pulls you in without trying too hard.

Drops you into a social deduction setup on a spaceship with zero hand-holding and somehow makes it work immediately. The loop mechanic is established early, and the show commits to it completely. Disorienting in the best way, and it's deliberate.

I was going to make an among us reference but the show beat me to it. The show spends alot of time explaining the rules and not enough on the characters. But I will continue watching because of the amazing character designs and possibility of a mind bendingly good time.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As episode one of twenty-one, 'Starting Point' is pure foundation—introducing the Gnosia threat, the ship's crew, and the paranoid social dynamics that will drive the entire series. It establishes Yuri's amnesia and the core mystery before directly feeding into episode two, 'Loops,' where the show's deeper structural complexities around time and reality reportedly begin to surface. Everything here is setup, but it's the kind of setup that recontextualizes once the bigger picture emerges.
