Instantly fell in love with the character designs!! Such a beautiful and colourful art style. I've never watched an anime with this concept before so it's refreshing to see. So much happened and it's only episode 1.

Episode Context

As episode one of twenty-one, 'Starting Point' is pure foundation, introducing the Gnosia threat, the ship's crew, and the paranoid social dynamics that will drive the entire series. It establishes Yuri's amnesia and the core mystery before directly feeding into episode two, 'Loops,' where the show's deeper structural complexities around time and reality reportedly begin to surface. Everything here is setup, but it's the kind of setup that recontextualizes once the bigger picture emerges.
