Episode Context

Coming off Episode 2's pivotal moment where Ritsuka invites Mafuyu into the band after hearing him sing, 'Somebody Else' digs into the emotional fallout of that decision and the shifting dynamics it creates among all four members. This is early-season foundation work, episode 3 of 11, establishing the interpersonal complexities that will drive the rest of the series. It directly sets the stage for Episode 4, 'Fluorescent Adolescent,' as the characters push deeper into both their music and the relationships they're still figuring out.
