EPISODE REVIEWS

Have been wanting to watch this anime for a while. I liked how the introduction to Uenoyama and Mafuyu's first meeting isn't dramatic. The pacing is also easy to follow. Opening song is fire too!!!

Es el primer episodio y tengo altas expectativas, los personajes son fáciles de entender y fue fácil que me cautivaran. Estoy intrigada por la historia detrás de Mafuyu.

Episode Context

As the first of eleven episodes, 'Boys in the Band' is purely foundational, it introduces the core cast, establishes the emotional stakes around music and disconnection, and plants the seeds of the relationship between Ritsuka and Mafuyu that will drive the entire season. No prior context is needed; this is your entry point. Every character dynamic and thematic thread introduced here, creative burnout, unspoken grief, the pull of human connection, will deepen and complicate across the episodes that follow.
