Meanwhile, Rosehip battles the fierce winds outside, her struggle a comical counterpoint to Darjeeling's elegance. The school prepares for the inevitable blackout, the flickering lights and drumming rain setting a tense stage.

The lights fail, plunging the school into chaos as students huddle in the dark. Rosehip grumbles, while Assam quickly brings order with a flashlight, emergency soufflés, and a trove of mobile batteries. Her foresight earns Darjeeling's praise, but a communal charging session soon drains their emergency reserves. Assam's horror at the collective misuse of power is palpable, a practical mind undone by collective shortsightedness.

By candlelight, Darjeeling muses aloud about a tank attracting lightning, her curiosity sparking a dangerous idea. A mechanical rumble cuts through the storm, leading the girls to the window where a Crusader tank's headlight cuts through the dark. To their horror, Rosehip is at the controls, driving into the open, inviting a lightning strike. A blinding flash illuminates the schoolyard as the tank is hit directly.

The Crusader is scorched but Rosehip emerges, proclaiming the experience "Dynamic!" and "Thrilling!" Back inside, a school announcement confirms an overnight stay, which Darjeeling turns into an excuse for more tea and camaraderie. The storm passes by morning, and Rosehip bounds outside, only to have her spirits dampened by a damage report for her fried tank. The segment closes with a return to normalcy, albeit an expensive one for Rosehip.

The scene shifts dramatically to a sunny water park, a stark contrast to the earlier typhoon. Erika Itsumi and Maho Nishizumi attempt relaxation, but Erika struggles with inactivity, viewing it as a waste of time. Her military instincts kick in when a girl splashes water nearby. She lectures the bewildered student on decorum, maintaining her stern persona even in a leopard-print bikini.

The peace is shattered by the appearance of Miho Nishizumi and the Ooarai team, creating an immediate, awkward standoff. The girls, all in swimsuits, struggle to navigate the casual social encounter. She handcuffs the two rivals together, declaring it a "bonding exercise" for the entire day. Ando and Oshida are horrified, their faces a picture of disbelief at their predicament.

A montage showcases Ando and Oshida's excruciating day, tethered together. Eating, using a vending machine, and attending class become impossible feats, leading to spills and frustration. They struggle to open lockers, constantly bumping and bickering, their shared proximity pushing them to breaking point. Each failed attempt only deepens their mutual resentment.

Exhausted and miserable, the girls are suddenly confronted by their own fans, who mistakenly believe they're in a secret relationship. The misunderstanding escalates into a baguette-fueled street brawl, forcing Ando and Oshida to fight back. Their handcuffs compel them to move as one, and they surprisingly perform a complex, coordinated combat dance. Their shared frustration morphs into effective teamwork, momentarily putting aside their differences.

After the fight, Ando and Oshida share a brief, unspoken moment of respect, acknowledging their surprising teamwork. However, the truce is short-lived. Marie meets them back at school, finally removing the handcuffs. When asked if they've bonded, both girls immediately shout "NO!" in unison and storm off in opposite directions.
