Aaah this episode is so sweet. Gintoki and Sacchan are perfect together. The story is also unique because it uses ninja characters, and of course it's still funny.

This was a great episode with hilarious yet surprisingly great fight scenes. Sacchan proved to be both a cool and comedic character, and I’m already looking forward to seeing more of her in the series.

I don’t really know how to feel about this ship, but Gintoki and Sacchan’s chemistry was undeniably funny. It was unexpected, but this episode did a great job showcasing her personality and how she fits into the story.

Episode Context

Arriving at episode 22 of 201, the series is still in its early stretch of establishing its sprawling cast and comedic identity. This episode follows a run of standalone comedic outings and introduces Sarutobi Ayame as a recurring character, expanding the roster of eccentrics orbiting the Yorozuya. Her debut sets the foundation for numerous future gags and storylines, making this a small but meaningful building block in Gintama's long game of character investment.
