This episode was so crazy, so funny. I didn't expect the ending, but it ended up embarrassing Gintoki and Hijikata. Their expressions were so funny, haha.

This ep show how Gintama handles horror: with pure absurdity. The Yorozuya’s fake exorcist scam was a highlight, but nothing beats the reveal of the "mosquito" ghost. It’s hilarious seeing tough guys like Gintoki Hijikata lose their cool over something so ridiculous. Comedy gold!

Lmao. Sougo and Kagura’s childish rivalry was absolutely hilarious. Then add Shinpachi getting dragged into the chaos, and everything just became even more ridiculous. This episode was comedy gold.

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 20 of 201, this is a standalone comedic entry nestled between the beach shenanigans of Episode 19 and the two-part story kicking off in Episode 21. It serves as a breather that deepens the Shinsengumi ensemble dynamics without advancing a larger narrative arc. Early Gintama is still in world-building mode, and episodes like this are key to establishing the character relationships that pay off in heavier arcs down the line.
