Episode Context

Episode 198 of 201 places this firmly in the endgame stretch, continuing the high-stakes magical confrontation between Seimei and Douman that the previous episode set into motion when Seimei harnessed the city's Shikigami power. The battle's outcome here directly feeds into the penultimate episodes, which explore the broader consequences for Edo and its inhabitants. With only three episodes remaining, this is a critical escalation point where the arc's central conflicts reach their most intense pitch before resolution.
