Episode Context

Sitting at episode 137 of 201, this is a filler installment nestled between other standalone character pieces, following episode 136's exploration of Hasegawa's personal struggles and preceding episode 138's reflective look into the past. No overarching arc is advanced, but the episode enriches the cast by giving Sacchan, Kondo, and Gintoki room to breathe in self-contained stories that deepen their characterization outside of major plot lines.
