Episode Context

Sitting past the halfway mark at episode 113 of 201, this is a self-contained comedic breather nestled between other character-focused standalones. It follows episode 112's Tama-centric outing and precedes episode 114's Hijikata personal storyline involving Matsudaira's daughter, making this stretch a deliberate cooldown period that deepens the cast through humor rather than advancing any overarching plot.
