One of the best parts of this episode is the chemistry between the characters. Although it isn't a serious arc, the closeness of the Yorozuya group is clearly evident, as is their knack for turning a simple situation into utter chaos. It also maintains Gintama's signature balance between humor and emotional moments, making it much more than just a collection of jokes.
