Episode Context

Sitting early in Gintama°'s 51-episode run, this is a standalone comedy breather following the similarly episodic tone of the season's opening stretch. The preceding episodes established the relaxed pace before the season ramps into its heavier, more serialized arcs, and Episode 4 continues that pattern, offering pure character-driven humor as a palate cleanser before the narrative begins tightening in subsequent episodes.
