Episode Context

This is the second episode of Gintama°'s 51-episode run, continuing directly from the season premiere's Universal Clock malfunction that left time frozen. The Yorozuya's attempts to fix the situation deepen here, introducing new complications and encounters that will ripple into the episodes ahead. As an early canon episode, it re-establishes the trio's dynamic for returning fans while laying groundwork for the time-related consequences the season will explore.
