Giant Ojousama
Oshimeter
Synopsis
At the tender age of fourteen, an heiress is handed an entire city by her billionaire dad — whose family empire is built on vending machines, of all things — and she actually spends a decade turning it into a thriving metropolis. Then a massive unidentified invader shows up and starts wrecking everything. Her butler, who also happens to be a scientist named Dr. Sebastian, hands her an experimental energy drink, and she transforms into a giantess to fight the thing herself. That's the premise of Giant Ojousama, and it's exactly as ridiculous as it sounds. This TV series from Tatsunoko Production leans hard into its absurd setup. The action-comedy-ecchi blend means you're getting kaiju-scale battles mixed with slapstick humor and the kind of transformation sequences you'd expect from that genre combo. Oriko isn't some reluctant hero — she's a sheltered rich girl who genuinely cares about her city and now has to physically punch building-sized threats to protect it. The energy drink power system is goofy in a way that gives the show room to just have fun with itself. If you liked the over-the-top energy of Kill la Kill or the absurd comedy style of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, this hits a similar wavelength. And if Attack on Titan made you think "what if the giant was actually on our side and also a teenage ojousama," well, here you go. It's dumb in the best way — the kind of show that knows exactly what it is and commits fully.
