The episode has a lot of mysteries and tense moments, culminating in a well-animated action scene, bookended by sad twist at the end. A small taste of the overall show's masterful writing.

Man, this ep hits different. I thought it was just going to be a mindless tank chase, but that ending? Ouch. Seeing the Major go toe-to-toe with a "ghost" in the machine is peak SAC. It’s gritty, tragic, and honestly makes you question what "human" even means. 10/10, must watch.

Tank test run goes wild !! Why are Tachikomas so cute with Togusa’s smiley sticker?? Are these spider bots just weapons or do they dream too?? Major snipes perfect, but will AI hearts derail the mission??
