This one hit me right in the feels. Seeing Aramaki deal with a "ghost" from his past while the team hunts a legacy-obsessed assassin? Too much. That cyberbrain hack at the end to "save" him was high-key genius and heartbreaking. Family trauma is a hell of a drug.

Tachikomas sacrifice hearts !! Why do clear ghost tears leak dying?? Do robot souls go somewhere after shutdown?? Section 9 mourns deep, but will tank ghosts return stronger??

The episode was really good. Gave a background of Aramaki and his close relationship with his MOD buddy Kubota. It appears that together with the deceased Col. Tsujisaki the three men were a formidable force back in their early years in military service. It's all coming together
