I thought the school arc was already dark, then this ep somehow made it worse. The idea that the entire ritual was engineered from the start gave the case this really nasty feeling, and Naru piecing it together was honestly satisfying to watch. The tension barely lets up here.

The research into the "Forbidden Pastime" is peak Ghost Hunt. I love how they dive into the folklore and the specific ritual steps. Seeing Naru and Lin get into the technical side of the curse while the school literally falls apart around them is so intense.
