This ep felt meaner than the earlier school cases, and I mean that in a good way. The mix of suicide rumors, random attacks, and that ghost dog gave the whole school this ugly atmosphere that never really relaxed. Yasuhara was a fun addition too. Creepy setup done right.

Yasuhara’s epic debut! This episode is a complete tone shift. One second they’re talking about school rumors, and the next, the "Ogasawara" curse is making everything feel so claustrophobic. The tension in the classroom was so thick.
