I think Getter Robo Arc ended on one of its more weaker episodes for this half, but I still really enjoyed it. I won't lie and say that the cliffhangers at the end took some bite out of the episode, but all the stuff in it was incredible. Cool episode.
The episode is completely amazing...While Takuma and Baku are lost in the void, Kamui returns to Earth but not as the same person. After witnessing how humanity will evolve in the future under the thrall of the Getter Emperor, he makes a choice. He returns to the Dinosaur Empire and usurps the throne from his half-brother Gore III , declaring himself the new Emperor. I love this episode.
This episode is action-packed. the infiltration, the legendary beast, the new finisher Everything is firing on all cylinders. Uzala is a genuinely intimidating presence, and Arc Shine Bomber is a spectacle worth waiting for. Nice episode.
This episode is heavy.Musashi's cold blooded tactics are jarring, but effective. The Arc team has to shed their hesitation and embrace the brutal reality of war.And Go Ichimonji's sacrifice is the emotional gut-punch. The legendary pilot, fighting beyond death, giving everything one last time.
This episode is something else. The action is intense. The desperation is real. Komei adds a new kind of threat an enemy that can't just be punched. And the countdown to Operation Jura Dead gives the episode a ticking-clock urgency that keeps you on edge.
This episode is light on action and heavy on feels. it's kamui's episode, through and through. we finally understand why he's so distant, why he pushes people away, why he seems to hate himself. he's been rejected by both sides of his heritage his entire life.
episode 7 is a transition episode it's moving pieces into place for the big counteroffensive. the alliance with the dinosaur empire is a bold narrative choice that raises fascinating questions about morality and survival. when facing extinction, former enemies become allies. Recomed to watch.
I love watching the episode.Takuma, Kamui, and Baku receive new marching orders. They're being deployed to the Indian Ocean for a major operation . The Alliance is finally going on the offensive. Meanwhile, the Alliance launches a massive assault on one of the enemy's large teleportation gates off the coast of Hawaii . The plan of Destroy the gate, cut off the enemy's reinforcements, and turn the tide of the war.
Now things are much worse. The insects have filled the hallways with eggs and are turning non-essential lab members into insect zombies . The queen ant is leading the charge, and her army is heading straight for the Getter Dragon in the old laboratory . I love the episode.
The pacing is slower, more exposition, more flashbacks, less giant robot action. But the emotional weight of Benkei's sacrifice and Kamui's backstory makes it worth watching.
the Saotome Laboratory is under attack. The Andromeda Stellaration forces are swarming in through the space-time gate. The D2 Getter units launch to defend the base — but they're getting decimated.
I love the episode. The team dynamics are a highlight. Takuma and Kamui's rivalry is the classic hot blooded protagonist vs. cold, mysterious rival dynamic that Getter Robo does best. Baku is the underappreciated MVP his precognition makes him invaluable, but he's stuck playing peacemaker between two idiots who won't talk to each other.
The episode is rough, the pacing is weird and the character designs look like relics from another era . But for me It's charming. Takuma is a solid protagonist tough but not cruel, skilled but not arrogant. Baku is a great foil the brains to Takuma's brawn. And Kamui's mysterious nature is genuinely intriguing.
series finale and it goes out swinging hahahahhah. Hayato especially goes absolutely crazy this ep i was not ready fr the pushing all theyre their limits hits different when you know whats at stake. watch it.
this ep is absolutely crazy the intensity from last ep doesnt let up at all and it just keeps building and building penultimate ep energy is fully here and you feel it immediately. one of the most intense eps of the whole show must watch fr.
things are escalating fast on this ep and the show is absolutely not holding back ngl. the action hits different when you realize hahahahhah.. everything feels massive and urgent at the same time. watch it immediately dont even think about skipping fr.
This anime ends at the same point where the manga ends. Even though there’s an after-credits epilogues that shows what happens after the final battle and gives some conclusion, I’d still love to see an OVA or movie that actually covers the final battle and connects it to the epilogue. Hayato was awesome there. Overall, this anime has several flaws, but it’s still a must-watch for Getter Robo fans. The anime also did a really good job adding context that wasn’t in the manga,
Great episode. This episode expanded more on the events that lead to the ending while the main characters each chose their own path. Things are getting really interesting, and I just hope it all leads to a satisfying ending.
Another great episode. The fights were great, and I loved seeing Arc’s finishing move. Some scenes involving McDonald were different from the manga, and I honestly can’t decide which version I like more because both of them were great.
This episode revealed everything, and the twist really makes you think. We finally got to see the combination sequence of the animated Getter Emperor, and it was awesome. Overall the best episode so far.
