My interpretation of the episode is that it’s a reality check for every collector’s wallet. The best part is when they try to justify their massive spending on merch. My opinion about the graphics is that the stacks of manga and boxes look heavy and dense with detail.

This episode felt a bit more melancholic. Dealing with the future and what happens to your hobbies when adulthood kicks in is a heavy topic. Genshiken handles it with a lot of heart without getting too sappy.
