Due to the lack of direction that is typical for the beginning of college, there is a real sense of slowness throughout this episode; the scenes of Sasahara hanging out awkwardly in the clubroom seem to last an eternity! Seems anime is gonna be slow and boring

In my personal take on the episode, it perfectly captures that awkward, aimless feeling of starting college. The standout scene is when Sasahara tries to act "normal" while browsing the clubroom. My opinion about the graphics is that the grounded, real-life aesthetic is a vibe.

Sasahara entering the club room for the first time is a core memory lol. The awkwardness is so palpable it actually hurts to watch, but in a good way? It’s rare to see an anime capture that specific "should I stay or should I go" energy so well. 10/10 relatable.
