This episode sheds light on Madarame’s unhappiness and why he remains tied to the club, even though it no longer fulfills him. His sense of being stuck is contrasted with Hato’s evolving identity, revealed through clothing changes and inner dialogues. These small details: outfits, silences, casual exchanges, highlight bigger themes of change, belonging, and the struggle to move forward. It’s a quiet yet powerful exploration of identity in transition.

I like how they introduce Hato’s "inner female persona," manifesting as an imaginary inner voice that hilariously provides a chaotic, fangirl commentary during his conversations.
