Synopsis
The kind of teacher students dream about, calm, composed, and completely out of reach, that's Hazuki Mizushiro, or so it seems. When Aoi, a student who's clearly been carrying feelings for a while, finally writes her a love letter, he doesn't get shot down. She actually responds. That's the setup for this 2-episode OVA from Peak Hunt, and if you know the genre, you already know where things are headed from there. Based on a light novel, the story leans into the tension of that teacher-student dynamic, the forbidden angle is kind of the whole point. Hazuki's cool exterior slowly gives way, and the contrast between her usual composed demeanor and how she acts around Aoi is what the series keeps coming back to. The character designs are expressive, the animation holds up well for the runtime, and the pacing doesn't drag given it only has two episodes to work with. If you've seen Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? and liked the teacher-student framing, this covers similar territory with a slightly more restrained romantic buildup before it goes where it goes. Fans of Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo who enjoy character-focused hentai with at least some narrative wrapper will probably find this worth the short time commitment. It's not trying to be anything other than what it is, and for two episodes, it delivers on its premise cleanly.

Usually these stories take a while to get to the point but Aoi sending that letter moved things along fast and the visuals for her transformation were pretty detailed for a first episode. I hope the next one keeps up this quality.
