There's a certain 90s charm to it. Which is a given, considering its release date. But regardless, Generator Gawl opens with a frantic arrival in a storm, then shifts into a goofy fish-out-of-water stretch as the trio searches for information. Gawl’s hunger causes trouble, while the investigation quietly establishes a bigger mystery. It’s messy, but intriguing.

Visually has a real noticeable 90 anime style, the opening and ending are real good, this episode gives a general context about the plot without abusing of the flashbacks.
