Episode Context

Sitting at episode 97 of 100, this is deep into the series' endgame stretch, following the supernatural romance themes of 'Strange Romance! The Yōka's Invitation' and pivoting toward transformation and identity. It bridges into 'Oyaji's Hyperemia!! Hero Kitarō!!' next, suggesting the series is cycling through distinct yōkai encounters as it builds toward its conclusion. Despite the near-finale positioning, this episode functions as a self-contained adventure rather than heavy serialized setup.
