Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of a 100-episode run, this episode follows the lighter merchandise-themed comedy of Episode 40 and continues the show's pattern of alternating between standalone character stories and larger youkai conflicts. It serves as a palate cleanser before Episode 42 pivots back into darker territory with the mysteries of Obebe Swamp and fresh youkai threats.
