EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

As the season's entry point, this premiere establishes Youkai Alley and Kitaro's role when humans encounter yokai, with no earlier installment to build on. The Suiko case is wrapped up within the episode, and the run moves directly into the independent follow-up 'BiBiBi!! Nezumi-Otoko!' rather than carrying that storyline forward.
