Episode Context

Coming directly off the first episode's introduction of Ayane and Miu, this episode wastes no time deepening their partnership while expanding the scope of the Invader threat. It introduces new mysteries tied to their school's past, signaling that the conflict has roots beyond straightforward combat. With four episodes remaining, this installment functions as an early foundation-builder, seeding questions that the back half of the OVA will likely be pressed to answer.
