📖 SYNOPSIS

Set in 1969 Tokyo, "Gate Keepers" follows the secret war between the organization A.E.G.I.S. and the invading forces known as the Invaders. The public remains oblivious to the threat. Ukiya Shun, a high school student, witnesses a battle and discovers he possesses the power to create a "gate" of special power, making him a Gate Keeper. He joins A.E.G.I.S. to protect the city and recruit other Gate Keepers. Throughout his journey, Ukiya struggles with the legacy of his late father, whom he despises, and strives to forge his own path while fighting the Invaders. The anime explores themes of responsibility, hidden heroism, and the burden of legacy.
