The moral lecture scene. Ledo's world has no mercy. Gargantia's world runs on cooperation. The show doesn't just preach it forces Ledo to confront his own conditioning and ask real questions. Why don't you kill? Why would you leave a threat alive? Compelling stuff.

It's the small details that make the visual stunning. There are just some scenes where they forgot about the shadows. They made the right decision about Ledo. The battle against the pirates is intense and thrilling.
