This movie confused me a bit about where it fits in the Gantz timeline, but that doesn’t really matter. As a standalone movie, it’s great. It throws you straight into the action and lets every character shine, especially Kato, who is the best boy as usual. The 3D CG is also quite good; it doesn’t feel unnatural, and the style works really well for this anime. At times, the scenes were a bit too dark, and I had to squint to see what was happening, but overall it was great.
GANTZ:O is pure adrenaline. 😭🔥 Masaru Kato is incredibly easy to root for, Reika shines, and the Osaka mission keeps raising the stakes. The CGI action is stunning, Suzuki brings heart to the story, and the emotional moments hit surprisingly hard. You definitely need to watch this movie ASAP!!!✨
